Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, activating, or using the Seenalt plugin ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Seenalt is a WordPress plugin that connects to the Seenalt API to generate ALT text for images using AI vision technology and to optimize images to modern formats (WebP/AVIF). The plugin sends image data to our servers for processing and returns the results to your WordPress site.

3. User Accounts & Plans

The Free plan is activated automatically upon installation. No registration is required. Paid plans are managed through the Freemius platform and provide additional credits and features. Credits reset monthly. Unused credits do not roll over.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service API.
• Submit images that contain illegal content, malware, or violate third-party rights.
• Abuse the Service by exceeding reasonable usage patterns or automating requests beyond normal plugin operation.

5. Image Processing

Images submitted for ALT text generation or optimization are processed in real-time. We do not permanently store your images on our servers. Images are deleted immediately after processing is complete. Generated ALT text and optimization results are returned to your WordPress site and stored locally in your database.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Seenalt plugin is licensed under the GPL v2 or later. You retain all rights to your images and content. Generated ALT text becomes your property once delivered to your WordPress site.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
